Some photos of the Christmas tree being up up. The decorations are from all over the world. Places family members have visited, presents friends have given to us, some from my mothers childhood and some are homemade from various generation of the family. A few are not Christmas tree decorations at all but somehow end up on the tree every year. It takes a while put up the tree and decorate it but what is Christmas with out it’s traditions.
Another great tradition is the plumb pudding. It keeps really well and you could even have it a Easter if it tickles your fancy! As you will see for the photo the recipe has been in the family for quite a while.
The best way to eat Plumb pudding is for breakfast. Fried in butter with mountains of brandy butter and a cup of coffee. Cholesterol time bomb but really really good. Run around a bit afterwords if you feel guilty.
