Shaw’s classic comedy Village Wooing is famous for its exploration of the mystical and inexplicable nature of sexual love. It has been enduringly popular since its first production in 1934 and the two mismatched lovers have been played by such luminaries as Cyril Cusack and Siobhan McKenna, Richard Briers and Judi Dench.
